U Chet Phaung and U Phyar Gyi belong to two different villages that are constantly at odds with each other. Although the head monk of the village instructed them to build a bridge between the two villages, they each wanted to build it their own way, leading to disagreements and growing animosity. Meanwhile, Daw Ni Lar Lwin, a young female teacher from the town who is related to them as a daughter-figure, comes to visit the village. Both U Chet Phaung and U Phyar Gyi end up falling for her and competing for her affection, leaving everyone wondering who she will ultimately choose.
